Um - didn't he say it would be posted by 5:00 this afternoon? Does anyone else see it on Blackboard?

I sent him email around 11:30pm last night so I could get started. I sort of hated doing that. I knew he would still expect it done Thursday. I'm afraid I am out of the mood. I keep looking at it & feeling duhhh

Is that seriously a quadratic formula problem on the first one?

God help us all..

HA HA AH HA. I laughed out loud, Kyle. Funniest thing I heard all week.
You know he isn't going to require us to do those things without the formulas.
But now, I'm not laughing any more.

what did you guys put for the Molar concentration of the NaOH in Lab 9? The bottle said N/10.
Do we use 0.1000 M?

And...it's an impossible quadratic equation to do as well (it's negative under the square root sign).

I really want to just throw it in the trash.

*And yes Lisa, .1000

Did he say that the diprotic had the two different concentrations for the equiv points, and the monoprotic had equal concentrations?

I don't have it in my notes. What I do have is that, if it is a diprotic acid, there will only be one concentration for us to report. It seems I recall him saying that if it were 2 different acids, they would give us equal concentrations of both? Can anybody confirm? I'm only at the point where I know I used 20.95 ml at one EqPt, and 27.25 at the second point.

I am hoping this is correct for finding the concentrations - wait. I don't know if I have diprotic. I don't seem to have the proper ratios of NaOH used, so I dont think it's diprotic.
1st Equiv Point ml NaOH x L/1000 ml x 0.5 moles = concentration
2nd Equiv Point ml NaOH x L/1000 ml x 0.05 moles = concentration
Is this right?
